Peyton, Eli share thoughts on Arch Manning's commitment to Texas
Peyton and Eli Manning are back in Louisiana this week for the annual “Manning Passing Academy.” The Manning brothers are being asked about their nephew, Arch Manning, who recently announced his verbal commitment to Texas.
Eli joked that Arch took an anti-Peyton approach by making a simple announcement without fanfare. Peyton announced his commitment to Tennessee from a sports bar. Both are glad that Arch can enjoy his senior year of high school, having made his commitment before the 2022 season.
Talked with both Peyton and @EliManning at the Manning Passing Academy about @ArchManning signing with @TexasLonghorns
Asked Eli if he liked the simple, subtle way Arch announced – he did, and he’s got jokes about Payton

Though Peyton made a big deal of his announcement back in the day, it sounds like Arch followed the Pro Football Hall of Famer’s advice: when you know, you know. Arch announced his commitment to the Longhorns days after taking his official visit to Austin to check out Steve Sarkisian’s program. The Texas trip was the third of 3 official visits for Arch. Prospects can take an official visit to up to 5 programs, though Arch did not schedule any beyond his June visits to Alabama, Georgia and Texas.

Fans can expect to see the proud uncles down in Austin sometime in the next few years.
