Phil Steele appeared on ESPN’s SportsCenter with anchor Matt Barrie on Sunday to discuss the fresh college football game lines out of Las Vegas for Week 2.

Steele said he was provided with advanced numbers on the weekend’s games from the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook.

Per usual, SEC teams will be featured in some of the biggest matchups.

Clemson is a 4.5-point favorite over Auburn, according to Steele.

“If that number moves, it might go down to 3.5 as the week goes on,” he told Barrie.

Steele also commented on the Georgia-Notre Dame game. The Fighting Irish is currently a 4-point favorite, but that line likely also will move down.

Steele said he doesn’t think the loss of Georgia quarterback Jacob Eason will impact the number “whatsoever,” and believes many Bulldogs fans were already calling for Fromm to be the starter.

“[Eason] played two series and they had zero first downs,” Steele said. “Fromm came in the field in the third series and led them to 21 points in the first half.”

Steele added that he believes the line could come down to three.
