Ole Miss fans eager for facility status updates received just that Tuesday as the school’s athletic director Ross Bjork released a statement noting a change to the construction process of Vaught-Hemingway Stadium’s north plaza.

According to Bjork, the school has changed construction contractors. Completion of the construction process to the Lloyd Bell Tower is slated to be the spring of 2018. The rest of the north plaza construction appears to be completed prior to the start of the 2017 season. When the project was first announced, the expectation was for the bell tower to be in place for the conclusion of the 2017 spring game in Oxford.
