Those arriving at Bryant-Denny Stadium for Alabama’s scrimmage on Saturday afternoon received an unwelcome surprise.

Written in chalk outside the stadium was the message “Go Vols!” which obviously won’t play well in Tuscaloosa.

As you can see below, the artist behind the message clearly wasn’t in a hurry, as they alternated chalk colors and wrote in big block letters:

Considering Alabama hasn’t lost to Tennessee since 2006, Crimson Tide fans won’t be too concerned about this bit of gamesmanship from the Volunteers supporter.

However, kudos to the Tennessee fan for going into enemy territory and repping his or her team. And extra credit should be given for the fact that the chalk graffiti can be easily washed away and no permanent damage was done to the Alabama campus or Bryant-Denny Stadium.
