Will Muschamp decided to make South Carolina his home all the way back on Dec. 6, but now he’s really making it home.

According to Jeff Wilkinson of The State, South Carolina’s head coach purchased a 9,417-square-foot executive home on a Lake Murray island. Muschamp reportedly bought it for $1.85 million.

The listings say the property, which is connected to the mainland by a causeway, is a five-bedroom, five-bath home with two half-baths. It includes a 2,644-square-foot guest house, a swimming pool and a boat dock.

According to Wilkinson, Muschamp has said he will move his family to South Carolina from Alabama after the school year ends in the spring.

Muschamp will earn $3 million this year as USC’s head coach.
