ESPN has undergone some major changes in recent years, and that trend continued on Tuesday.
College football broadcaster, analyst and radio host Mike Golic Jr. announced via Twitter that Monday was his last day at the Worldwide Leader.
Golic didn’t reveal what is next for him, but he thanked ESPN and his colleagues and bosses for a great 6.5 years with the network:
“life update” tweet: yesterday was officially my last day at ESPN. it was 6.5 years of my professional life, but really it’s been all I’ve ever known. simply put, ESPN changed my life in ways I will never be able to properly express my gratitude for.

I’m not gonna ramble so I’ll just say this. Thank you. Thanks to ESPN, my coworkers, my bosses, anyone who ever listened to or watched anything I did (sorry @dionnewarwick). You guys all rock and I love you. We’ll get to what comes next later. ❤️

Golic’s father, Mike Golic Sr., also left ESPN recently.
At least we’ll always have Golic pushing the boundaries of live television with his disgusting Duke’s Mayo Bowl food combinations:

What an absolute legend. We’ll see what comes next for him professionally.
