With spring football in the rearview mirror, post-spring Top 25 polls have sprung up all over the web. While all the polls have some variation, for the most part, the polls have come to some consensus to the teams belonging in the Top 25 heading into the summer.

In the SEC, six teams have garnered attention as being worthy of the Top 25 — while one team just on the outside has earned a place inside one of these post-spring rankings.

No team earned more No. 1 votes than Alabama, but the Crimson Tide were not the consensus top team in the nation. Mark Schlabach of ESPN rates the Tide as the No. 3 team and Dennis Dodd of CBS Sports has the Tide as the nation’s No. 2 team.

Auburn is nearly a consensus Top 10 team, ranking just outside the Top 10 only by Steven Lassan of Athlon at No. 13 and Bill Bender of The Sporting News at No. 11.

LSU was ranked by each poll. The Tigers highest position was at No. 11 in Brian Hamilton’s Sports Illustrated poll; LSU’s lowest position was No. 20 by Stewart Mandel of FOX Sports.

Georgia was also ranked in each poll. The Bulldogs highest position was No. 10 by The Sporting News; the Dawgs lowest position was No. 18 in the CBS poll.

The last SEC team to appear in every poll was Florida. The Gators’ highest position was No. 15 in The Sporting News poll; Florida’s lowest position was No. 24 in the SI poll.

Tennessee made an appearance in four of the polls. The Vols highest rank was at No. 17 in Athlon’s poll.

Mississippi State was the only other SEC team listed in any of the polls. The Bulldogs ranked No. 25 in the FOX Sports poll.

Arkansas, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Kentucky, Missouri, South Carolina, Missouri, and Vanderbilt failed to appear in any of the polls.
