PrizePicks is the place to be for Monday night’s College Football Playoff title game between No. 1 Michigan and No. 2 Washington.

Washington has one of the best passing offenses in recent memory. Michigan has one of the best overall defenses of the last few years.

Something’s gotta give tonight, as they say. Will Michael Penix Jr. and the Huskies put up video game numbers through the air? Or will Michigan bleed the clock with Blake Corum and the rushing attack? Will Jim Harbaugh win a national championship and then head off to the NFL?

We’ll find out soon enough, but first: there’s still time to get in on the fun over at PrizePicks!

My Picks for Michigan vs. Washington

Blake Corum, Michigan: Higher than 101.5 rushing yards

Washington’s run defense is, in a word … atrocious. The Huskies have trouble stopping anyone on the ground, which makes their undefeated record thus far all the more impressive. Blake Corum, on the other hand, is an elite running back who has success even against top run defenses. He could honestly surpass 102 yards on the ground in the first half of this matchup.

Cornelius Johnson, Michigan: Lower than 43.5 receiving yards

Roman Wilson is the go-to guy for JJ McCarthy, but the Wolverines don’t throw the ball enough to make any other players in the receiving corps major threats. With the aforementioned paper-thin Washington run defense, Jim Harbaugh and his staff likely won’t dial up many passing plays tonight. Thus, I like Johnson to finish this game with fewer than 44 receiving yards.

Jalen McMillan, Washington: Lower than 67.5 receiving yards

One of the 3 star Washington receivers — McMillan, Rome Odunze and Ja’Lynn Polk — will likely be held in check by the Wolverines’ elite pass defense. I think Odunze can have a big game the way Ohio State star Marvin Harrison Jr. did against Michigan in The Game. However, if the Wolverines can limit McMillan, they’ll have a chance to win this game and claim their first national title since 1997.

How Many Picks Should You Make?

A 3-picks contest like the one I detailed above would pay out 5x your entry fee. So a $5 entry would pay $25 in winnings if all 3 picks are correct:

Feeling a bit bolder? A 4-picks contest features a 10x multiplier. Want to play it safe? Contests with 2 picks pay out 3x. Just make sure to make your picks soon before kickoff of what is sure to be a great College Football Playoff title game!

Monday night’s Playoff title game can be seen on ESPN and kicks off at 7:30 p.m. Eastern time. Make sure you’re in front of a TV to see all the great action that will conclude the 2023 season.
