The 2020 NFL Draft is still a few months away, but a number of elite college players are starting to stand out to NFL scouts.

On Monday, Pro Football Focus named 8 players as first-round “locks,” 3 from the Big Ten and 5 from the SEC.

The players named from the SEC included a pair of quarterbacks who just played an epic game on Saturday afternoon:

  • Joe Burrow, QB, LSU
  • Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Alabama
  • Jerry Jeudy, WR, Alabama
  • Derrick Brown, DL, Auburn
  • Andrew Thomas, OL, Georgia

Burrow and Tagovailoa are even being mentioned as potential No. 1 overall picks, so we’ll see what happens as the pre-draft process plays out.

Those are all talented players, though, so NFL teams will be scouting them closely over the next few months.
