Ever wonder about the most difficult college football running backs to bring down entering the season? Pro Football Focus attempts to answer the question, and three SEC running backs made their top 10.

LSU’s Leonard Fournette (no surprise) leads the way at No. 1, followed by Georgia’s Nick Chubb at No. 5 and Tennessee’s Alvin Kamara at No. 6.

You can check out the entire top 10 here, and there’s some serious talent there. As with all preseason lists, though, there’s room for debate. After all, why did Kamara make the cut and not fellow Tennessee running back Jalen Hurd?

Soon enough, lists and best guesses will give way to the real thing.
