Pro Football Focus's latest Round 1 2021 NFL Mock Draft includes 12 SEC stars
There won’t be a normal NFL Combine this year, but that doesn’t mean the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft will have any fewer SEC stars than normal.
It’s officially mock draft season ahead of the April draft, and on Monday, Pro Football Focus released its latest 2021 NFL Mock Draft.
As you can see below, a dozen SEC stars are projected to go in the first 32 picks, led by former LSU WR Ja’Marr Chase at No. 5:
- No. 5 — Ja’Marr Chase, WR, LSU — Cincinnati Bengals
- No. 8 — Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida — Carolina Panthers
- No. 10 — Patrick Surtain II, CB, Alabama — Dallas Cowboys
- No. 11 — Jaylen Waddle, WR, Alabama — New York Giants
- No. 12 — Jaycee Horn, CB, South Carolina — San Francisco 49ers
- No. 15 — DeVonta Smith, WR, Alabama — New England Patriots
- No. 17 — Christian Barmore, DL, Alabama — Las Vegas Raiders
- No. 21 — Mac Jones, QB, Alabama — Indianapolis Colts
- No. 25 — Kadarius Toney, WR, Florida — Jacksonville Jaguars
- No. 26 — Nick Bolton, LB, Mizzou — Cleveland Browns
- No. 29 — Tyson Campbell, CB, Georgia — Green Bay Packers
- No. 31 — Azeez Ojulari, LB, Georgia — Tampa Bay Buccaneers
If Elijah Moore was 3 inches taller he’d be a guaranteed first rounder.
He is going to make people wish they had picked him, I do believe.
mac jones seemed to have done everything that was asked of him and then some the past season and a half, but i’ll be surprised if he ends up getting drafted in the 1st rd.
We will see he has all the intangibles other than being fleet on his feet
Chiefs need to draft Nick Bolton. PLEASE
