Pro Football Focus has continued covering the best prospects in the 2023 NFL Draft and is focusing on the top safeties in college football.

This list includes six SEC safeties in the top 10 for the 2023 NFL Draft. Texas A&M’s Antonio Johnson and Alabama’s Brian Branch were the top two safeties. At No. 4 and No. 5 were Alabama’s Jordan Battle and Arkansas’s Jalen Catalon.

Georgia’s Tykee Smith and Texas A&M’s Demani Richardson came in at No. 8 and No. 9, respectively. Battle and Richardson were the only seniors from the SEC on the list. Alabama and Texas A&M each had two players make the list, while Arkansas and Georgia had one for each team.

These stars will be important pieces on each of their teams in the fall. Look for them to have great seasons before they leave for the 2023 NFL Draft.
