Projecting Sunday’s AP Top 25: Alabama moves up; FSU, TCU survive

It may not be pretty, but Florida State keeps winning.

The defending national champion Seminoles survived another ACC upset bid Saturday night, holding off Miami with a late touchdown from Dalvin Cook for their 26th consecutive victory.

FSU will likely be the new No. 1 team in college football on Sunday thanks to Alabama’s 25-20 victory over previously unbeaten Mississippi State, the Crimson Tide’s second straight win over a ranked team from the West.

Here’s our best guess at how Sunday’s new Associated Press Top 25 will look. We’ve included last week’s rankings as a guide.
