Ranking the top 10 College GameDay signs from the 2014 season
Most of us watch ESPN’s College GameDay every Saturday morning during the college football season, and we’ve all come to know and love the hilarious signs fans bring with them to the set of every show.
This season’s signs were some of the best in the show’s 20-year history. Here’s a rundown of the top 10 GameDay signs from the 2014 season:
10. Paul, your Baum is Fine
Short and simple with some clever wordplay in the mix. Well done.

This is about 15 years too late to be considered topical, but Baylor fans made a nice jab at TCU nonetheless during the final weekend of the regular season.
8. Blame Jameis vs. Blame Jamish

Making fun of Lou Holtz’s lisp has become a newfound tradition for college football fans, as seen on the sign above.

There are some fans who will never let Manti Te’o live this down.

This fan didn’t waste any time in cutting right to the core of OSU’s soul.

4. Auburn’s Homecoming Court
Sorry, Auburn fans, but GameDay spectators seemed to be most creative when finding ways to attack your University. In return, below is a sign picking on Alabama, just for you.
3. Bama girls at 20 vs. Bama girls at 30
We're looking for the best signs in Fayetteville this morning. How about this Bama girls sign? #WPS #SECNation pic.twitter.com/b6K4CLw0NW

Is that better, Auburn faithful?
2. E. Gordon Gee’s apology to TCU

— E. Gordon Gee (@gordongee) October 31, 2014
Gee called the Horned Frogs the “little sisters of the poor” prior to their Rose Bowl showdown with Wisconsin, and drew plenty of negative attention for those comments. Gee was serving as President at Ohio State at the time, a fellow Big Ten member in support of Wisconsin entering the matchup. TCU won that game as part of its coming out party on the biggest of national stages.
The Horned Frogs are now in the Big 12, along with Gee and his new school, West Virginia University. As the old saying goes, the rest is history.
1. Katherine Webb is an Ole Miss 6

For those who don’t recall, Webb is the very attractive girlfriend of former Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron. Her picture can be found below.
Apparently the Ole Miss fan holding the sign above feels pretty confident about the beautiful women of the Grove. If you’ve ever been to a Grove tailgate, then you know that confidence is not misplaced.
