Horns down? When 2020 RB Zachary Evans, the No. 1 overall recruit in his class, released his top-five schools on Tuesday night, Texas wasn’t listed.

In fact, no Texas programs made the cut. Instead, three SEC powers will compete with a Big 12 squad and a Big Ten team for Evans’ services.

As you can see below, Evans has Alabama, LSU and Georgia included among his top-five schools as the 2020 recruiting cycle moves forward:

Those three SEC programs will compete with Oklahoma and Ohio State for Evans’ services in 2020 and beyond.
