Ready to rumble? Titans, Ravens coaches, players tangle pregame at midfield
The Tennessee Titans and Baltimore Ravens have some history as AFC heavyweights in recent years.
But before their game on Sunday, Malcolm Butler of the Titans and Ravens coach John Harbaugh got into a nose-to-nose back-and-forth on the Ravens logo. It was unclear what sparked the original brouhaha other than the Titans coming out and immediately going to the logo.
They are both 6-3, and are viewed as second-tier teams in the AFC that will likely battle for a playoff spot, or meet in the playoffs.
This is the kind of thing to monitor as the game goes on to see if there are any personal foul penalties.
Here’s a recap of what went down, including some video of the incident:
Uh oh. Midfield logo drama here at M&T Bank Stadium. The #Titans came out and went right to midfield on the logo. John Harbaugh came all the way out and took offense. Mike Vrabel and Harbaugh then had a spirited chat. Throw the records out!!!

Wow, John Harbaugh and Malcolm Butler went nose-to-nose after Titans came on the field and started gathering on Ravens logo. Harbaugh and then Mike Vrabel were having an animated conversation.
