Red River Rivalry game in Dallas draws numerous NFL scouts
The Red River Rivalry between Texas and Oklahoma in Dallas today certainly has the attention of the college football world, but the game has apparently drawn out several NFL scouts as well.
247Sports’ Tom Green reports that Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, Houston Texans, Los Angeles Chargers, Minnesota Vikings, New England Patriots, New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, Pittsburgh Steelers, Seattle Seahawks, Tennessee Titans, Chicago Bears, Baltimore Ravens, Atlanta Falcons and Arizona Cardinals are all in attendance for the exciting matchup, which features several players who are likely headed to the NFL next season.
The game has the attention of a national audience and some NFL scouts, and it will be a perfect opportunity for players to show what they can do a raise their draft stock.
The Longhorns and Sooners will kickoff at noon ET. Both teams come into the matchup undefeated and looking for a big win as they both fight for a spot in the College Football Playoff. Last season, Texas took the game 49-0, but Oklahoma will be looking for revenge this year.
