Back in 2015, a video showing two high school players targeting a referee went viral, leading to nationwide disgust over the alleged report that a coach instructed the players to go after the referee.

The play, which can be seen above, led to the suspensions of the two players involved from all high-school sports.

However, according to FOX7Austin.com, one of the involved students — Victor Rojas — will be allowed to play next season if he continues to stay out of trouble.

Michael Moreno, the other player in the video, graduated high school following the 2015 season, but Rojas was only a sophomore.

The vicious hit on Robert Watts was certainly one of the worst stories to come out of high school sports in recent years. Do you think Rojas should be allowed to play again, or should he be banned for life?
