The Auburn Tigers were a senior-heavy team during the 2019-20 season, with Danjel Purifoy, J’Von McCormick, Samir Doughty, Anfernee McLemore and Austin Wiley among the seniors who contributed in big ways.

Obviously, that leaves a lot of holes for coach Bruce Pearl to fill for the 2020-21 season, so it wouldn’t be a huge surprise to see the Tigers pursue a big-name transfer.

Well, according to Jake Weingarten, Auburn is interested in a transfer from Virginia Tech, but they aren’t the only SEC school in the mix. Landers Nolley II entered the transfer portal on Monday, and Auburn, Arkansas, Alabama and Florida have all expressed interest already:

Nolley redshirted during his first year at Virginia Tech, then played a big role this past season. He averaged 15.5 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game, appearing 32 times and making 29 starts for the Hokies.

Will he end up in the SEC next season? We’ll find out over the next few months.
