Report: ACC ADs ‘moving forward in an attempt to play’ football in 2020

As we make our way through Monday’s roller-coaster news cycle, it’s unclear which, if any, Power 5 conferences will cancel football this fall.
The SEC reportedly stands firm in its desire to play this fall, with the ACC and Big 12 potentially leaning toward joining the SEC.
Per Sports Illustrated’s Pat Forde, ACC athletic directors met on Monday and decided to move forward with preparations for the season:
Sources: ACC ADs met today and are "moving forward in an attempt to play," in the words of one staffer. League presidents could be meeting today as well.

It’s important to note that this doesn’t mean the season will actually be played, but it does mean the league is reportedly going to give it a shot.
As we’ve seen already this week, though, things can change in an instant, so we’ll have to monitor all of the Power 5 conferences for the next few days.
