It appears another Power 5 job will be opening up.

Kansas State coach Bill Snyder is reportedly expected to step down by the end of the week. The 79-year-old is in his second stint at KSU. He coached the Wildcats from 1989-2005 before stepping away and ultimately deciding to return again in 2009.

Snyder, who studied at Missouri for a year, is 215-117-1 as a head coach.  Kansas State went 5-7 in 2018, including a 31-10 loss to Mississippi State in Week 2.

According to Brett Vito of the Denton-Record Chronicle, North Texas coach Seth Littrell is expected to be the top candidate. Other candidates could include Troy coach Neal Brown, Appalachian State coach Scott Satterfield and Boise State coach Bryan Harsin.
