This past offseason, former Florida State and NFL star Deion Sanders seemingly got some consideration for open FBS coaching jobs, including those at Arkansas and Florida State.

He didn’t land either of those jobs, obviously, and it’s unclear exactly how much interest there was from the schools.

But now, according to FootballScoop.com, Sanders is potentially in the mix for another head coaching position. As you can see below, he’s “expected to be a candidate” for the open Jackson State job:

Former Jackson State coach John Hendrick and most of his staff were dismissed by the school on Monday, leaving the position open.

Jackson State is an FCS school that plays in the SWAC. The Tigers went 4-8 in 2019.
