Report: Duquesne football player dies after 16-story fall

Another tragedy has struck the college football family, this time involving Duquesne RB Marquis Brown.

According to a report from WPXI on Friday, Brown died after he fell 16 stories on Thursday night.

The report states that police responded to a complaint about an altercation taking place on that floor:

A Duquesne University football player died after he fell from a 16th floor window of a residence hall on Duquesne University’s campus Thursday night, officials said.

Pittsburgh police were called about 10:30 p.m. to Brottier Hall, where campus police had responded for an altercation on the 16th floor.

Brown was listed as a sophomore on the Duquesne roster.

Police are reportedly investigating the death.
