Report: FBS assistant coach tests positive for coronavirus
The COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread across the globe, and now it has made its way into the Boise State football program.
According to a tweet from reporter Dave Southorn, co-special teams coordinator and OLB coach Zac Alley tested positive for the virus.
According to Southorn, Alley is now feeling much better, thankfully:
Boise State co-special teams coordinator/outside linebackers coach Zac Alley said he tested positive last week for COVID-19. Feeling good now.

Obviously, this is bad news for the 2020 season. Yes, Alley will likely make a full recovery, but hopefully he didn’t have contact with anyone else to spread the virus.
We’ll see if any additional coaches or athletes across the country come down with the virus. If so, the season could be delayed.
