Former Clemson QB Kelly Bryant is officially on the lookout for a new school to join.

The talented athlete should be a hot commodity, so his first choice of schools to visit is understandably raising eyebrows.

According to a report from ESPN.com, Bryant is set to unofficially visit North Carolina — a program that is currently 1-3 and hosts a tough Virginia Tech squad this weekend:

Former Clemson quarterback Kelly Bryant plans to take an unofficial visit to North Carolina this weekend, sources with knowledge of the situation told ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg.

The Tar Heels don’t seem to be in any position to contend next year, which would be Bryant’s final year of eligibility. Also, they could have a first-year head coach, as many expect Larry Fedora to be fired after the season.

Bryant should have plenty of other teams vying for his services, so we’ll have to see how this situation plays out moving forward.
