Report: Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott, conference exec staff taking pay cuts

Industries across the globe are facing hard times as the COVID-19 outbreak continues to spread.

College sports aren’t immune to the budget shortfalls, especially since the NCAA basketball tournaments and spring sports seasons have been canceled.

On Monday, it was reported that Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott was taking a 20% pay cut, Pac-12 executives would face 10% pay cuts through June and the Pac-12 Network was laying off 8% of its staff:

Those are obviously tough cuts to make, especially the 8% staff layoffs, but times are hard for those across the sporting landscape.

Let’s hope we can beat this outbreak soon so things can go back to as close to normal as possible.
