As many of the top names come off the transfer market, there are still a few intriguing players in the NCAA transfer portal.

One of those players is St. John’s guard L.J. Figueroa, who has been a talented player for the Red Storm. And, he is now drawing a lot of interest from other schools.

Per ESPN’s Jeff Borzello, Figueroa has already heard from 2 SEC teams — Arkansas and Auburn:

Those 2 SEC squads will compete with Memphis, Texas Tech, Dayton, Ohio State, Oregon, Georgia Tech, Samford and UCLA for Figueroa’s services. Other schools may enter the mix, too. He just finished his second season at St. John’s, so he’ll likely have to sit out a year and then have 2 years of eligibility remaining.

Figueroa appeared in 32 games for the Red Storm this past season, starting all of them. He averaged 14.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.9 steals per contest.
