Report: Texas fires legendary QB Vince Young for not showing up to work
Former Texas QB Vince Young’s post-playing career hasn’t gone so well, and now he’s had another setback.
Despite holding a $100K per year job with the university, Young still got fired by the school for which he won a national title.
Per an AP report, Young was fired by the Longhorns for poor performance and not showing up to work:

Young was arrested on Feb. 4 and charged with DWI, so it’s possible that also played a role in his firing.
Obviously, this isn’t a good look for the ex-Longhorn, who is struggling to keep his life together now that his playing days are over.
