After former USF coach Willie Taggart left for Oregon earlier this month, the rumors surrounding the school and Strong began to intensify.
Now, it’s seemingly only a matter of time before the deal is done and Strong officially has a new job.
Strong, a longtime Florida assistant, has ties to the area, which will help him recruit top players to his new program.
