Leonard Fournette, Myles Garrett and Cameron Robinson are having strong sophomore seasons. So strong, in fact, that Rivals.com feels that all three are ready for the NFL now.
Rivals named five sophomores that it felt were ready for the NFL. Fournette, Garrett and Robinson were three of them.
Fournette has rushed for 1,352 yards and 15 touchdowns in seven games for LSU this season. He has led the Tigers to a 7-0 start and a No. 4 national ranking, and is considered one of the frontrunners for the Heisman Trophy.
Garrett, a defensive end, has 37 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks for Texas A&M. He has helped the Aggies start the season 5-2.
Robinson has anchored Alabama’s offensive line. The left tackle has helped the seventh-ranked Crimson Tide start the year 6-1.
The other two players on the list were Florida State running back Dalvin Cook and USC wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster. Cook has rushed for 1,037 yards and 11 touchdowns for the Seminoles. Smith-Schuster has caught 47 passes for 901 yards and eight touchdowns for the Trojans.
