Rivals names 3 SEC schools among 6 colleges with surprisingly good 2019 NFL Draft classes
The 2019 NFL Draft has come and gone, and the SEC set a record for most players picked in a single draft, sending 64 players to the pro ranks.
Alabama sent 10 players to the pros, but other programs also fared well during the three-day event in Nashville.
Along with Texas, Washington and West Virginia, Rivals said three SEC programs had surprisingly good hauls at the draft. Those programs are:
- Ole Miss
- Mississippi State
- Texas A&M
Mississippi State had five players picked, Ole Miss had six and Texas A&M had seven players hear their names called.
