RJ Austin, Vanderbilt star, headlines 2023 SEC Baseball all-tournament team
RJ Austin was named MVP of the 2023 SEC Baseball Tournament on Sunday afternoon.
The Vanderbilt infielder had an outstanding week in Hoover as the Commodores were crowned conference champions. Amongst Austin’s big hits this weekend were this 2-RBI double against Florida on Saturday, which helped send Vanderbilt to the title game:

He was joined by teammate Chris Maldonado as the DH on the all-tournament team. Texas A&M, who finished runner-up to the Commodores, put 3 players on the squad.
Florida, Alabama and Auburn also had multiple players make the all-tournament team.
