The race for the Heisman Trophy is getting interesting as we’re in the final week of the regular season. Robert Griffin III has named his front runners  and injured Tennessee quarterback Hendon Hooker remains on the list.

The other 7 players on the list were Michigan running back Blake Corum, TCU quarterback Max Duggan, North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye, USC quarterback Caleb Williams, Ohio State quarterback CJ Stroud, Texas running back Bijan Robinson, and UIW quarterback Lindsey Scott Jr.

Williams, No. 1 on Griffin’s list, has passed for 3,480 yards, 33 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions with a QBR of 85.3 for No. 6 USC. The sophomore quarterback from Washington, D.C. is coming off a monster performance vs. city rival UCLA in which he amassed 503 total yards and 3 touchdowns.

Hooker suffered a torn ACL in his left knee last weekend during Tennessee’s loss vs. South Carolina.

The 6-foot-4, 218-pound Hooker passed for 3,135 yards, 27 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions with a QBR of 89.5 this season. The senior from Greensboro, NC passed for at least 275 yards 6 times this season. Hooker also tossed at least 2 touchdowns in 10 games this season. Hooker rushed for 430 yards and 5 touchdowns.

Tennessee will complete the regular season with a contest at in-state rival Vanderbilt on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET (SEC Network).
