Rutgers' embarrassing 'crowd' for Liberty game has to be the worst of the year
Things aren’t going well for Rutgers these days. They’ve already fired their coach and are currently locked in a battle with Hugh Freeze’s Liberty squad.
Sadly, almost no one is there to see it, as Rutgers’ decent-sized stadium is nearly empty.
Don’t believe us? Take a look at exactly how many open seats are still there to be had just prior to kickoff of Saturday’s game:

Rutgers is currently 1-6 (0-5 in Big Ten play) and is tied with Liberty 21-21 at halftime.
This program is a mess, so we’ll see who decides to take the open head coaching job for this massive rebuilding process.
