As the day unfolded, it appeared Georgia fans would be the most sad on a day when the No. 1-ranked team in the College Football Playoff ranking fell in lopsided fashion.

But as the night drew on in Week 11, fans across the SEC had a range of emotions. Even Alabama fans were nervous down the stretch as some, like their Mississippi State counterparts, struggled to watch.

As temperatures dipped into the 50s Saturday night, staying warm was the least of the worries for Bulldog fans, even if they were shirtless, as they watched a would-be upset of undefeated Alabama slip away in the final seconds.

For Smokey, though, it was a challenge to stay warm and interested as the Vols dropped their latest game, 50-17 in Missouri.

Still, as reactions go, Georgia fans’ blank stares in the Auburn night stood in a class by themselves.
