Two former SEC players were placed on the non-football injury list by the New Orleans Saints.

Ex-LSU WR Travin Dural and former Auburn DT Devaroe Lawrence were placed on the list just prior to rookies reporting to training camp on Wednesday. In a nutshell, the non-football injury list is injuries sustained outside of team. Dural and Lawrence both dealt with injuries during their college careers, and it’s unknown at this time what the injuries are.

The duo still counts towards the Saints’ 90-man preseason roster, but in order to be activated, they’ll have to complete a physical.

Lawrence played in 21 games for Auburn, making 45 tackles and 1.5 sacks, while Dural recorded 100 receptions for 1,716 yards and 13 touchdowns during his career. Lawrence and Dural were undrafted free agent signees.
