Chris Marler and Tyler Huck of our very own Saturday Football Uncensored Podcast give their preview and predictions for this Saturday’s games in the SEC and around the country on the latest episode of the pod. The guys have been hitting above 85% on game predictions and a whopping 70% against the spread so far this season.
No. 1 Georgia will put its 22-game winning streak on the line against No. 20 Kentucky in matchup of 5-0 teams that some have called the SEC East Championship. But the Cats and Big Blue Nation have been here before, will this time be different? Kentucky’s Ray Davis and Georgia’s Brock Bowers will go a long way toward deciding this one in Athens.
In College Station, a win over Alabama would give the Aggies a leg up as they close in on their first SEC West title since joining the league in 2012.
Texas A&M’s QB Max Johnson has played Alabama twice before while at LSU, but has yet to beat the Tide.
In 2021, he completed 16 of 32 passes for 160 yards with 2 touchdowns and an interception, but was sacked 5 times in a 20-14 loss. A year earlier, he replaced TJ Finley in a 55-17 loss and went 11 of 17 for 110 yards.
Alabama’s Jalen Milroe also struggled, though in a win, in his first start against the Aggies. Milroe passed for 111 yards and 3 touchdowns, but also threw an interception and lost 2 fumbles in the 24-20 Tide win a year ago.
