2021 NFL Draft: 8 SEC players selected during 4th round

Round 4 of the 2021 NFL Draft is in the books. Eight more SEC players heard their names called during picks 106-144.

It was a bit of a different round than we saw on Days 1 and 2. Alabama and Georgia, the teams with the most players picked in 2021, did not have any draftees in Round 4. Texas A&M had 3 draftees called during the round while LSU was the only other team with multiple selections. Social media had some fun with a particular selection out of Florida as well.

As for Arkansas and Mississippi State, still no Razorbacks or Bulldogs called in the draft. We’ll see in Round 5.

Below is a breakdown of where things stand after Round 4:

  7. No. 142 Royce Newman, OL, Ole Miss (Packers)
  8. No. 143 Tyree Gillespie, DB, Mizzou (Raiders)
