There were some huge individual outings from SEC players on Saturday, including a record-setting day from Alabama’s Bryce Young.
The Crimson Tide sophomore quarterback set a single-game school record with 559 passing yards and added 5 touchdowns in a hard-fought 42-35 win over Arkansas.
On Monday, the SEC recognized Young and several of the other top performers from Saturday by handing out its Player of the Week awards for Week 12.
In all, there were 8 players recognized this week, with 5 schools being represented.

- Co-Special Teams Player of the Week: Velus Jones Jr., KR, Tennessee
- Co-Special Teams Player of the Week: Harrison Mevis, PK, Missouri
- Defensive Line Player of the Week: Trajan Jeffcoat, DL, Missouri
- Co-Offensive Line Player of the Week: Caleb Warren, OL, Ole Miss
- Co-Offensive Line Player of the Week: Jovaughn Gwyn, RG, South Carolina
- Freshman of the Week: Trai Jones, FB, South Carolina
