The SEC has announced its Players of the Week after the Week 2 slate of contests.

The Offensive Player of the Week is South Carolina quarterback Spencer Rattler. Kentucky center/offensive guard Eli Cox is the Offensive Lineman of the Week.

Mississippi State linebacker Jett Johnson and Auburn linebacker Eugene Asante captured Co-Defensive Player of the Week. Missouri’s Nyles Gaddy and Arkansas’ Trajan Jeffcoat earned Co-Defensive Lineman of the Week.

Ole Miss kicker Caden Davis is the Special Teams Player of the Week. Vanderbilt wide receiver London Humphreys is the Freshman of the Week.

Rattler completed 25 of his 27 passes for 345 yards and 3 touchdowns as well as a rushing score in South Carolina’s victory vs. Furman. Rattler connected on his first 15 passes during the win.

Cox played every snap of Kentucky’s win vs. Eastern Kentucky and tallied 5 knockdown blocks with no sacks allowed.

Johnson led Mississippi State with 11 tackles along with a sack in the victory vs. Arizona. Asante recorded a career-high 12 tackles plus 1.5 tackles for loss in Auburn’s win at Cal.

Gaddy had 2 sacks in Missouri’s victory vs. Middle Tennessee, the second multi-sack game of his career. Jeffcoat had a career-high 1.5 sacks in Arkansas’ win against Kent State.

Davis converted all 3 of his field goals, including a career-high 56-yarder to secure the victory with 1:53 to go over Tulane.

Humphreys notched the first 100-plus yard performance of his career with 4 receptions for 109 yards in the victory at Wake Forest.
