Saturday’s nail-biter between Missouri and Florida produced 3 SEC Players of the Week recipients, and LSU’s Jayden Daniels electrified the crowd again in Week 12.

Offensive Players of the Week

Daniels won Offensive Player of the Week after an 8-TD performance against Georgia State, but Missouri quarterback Brady Cook shared the honor with his comeback performance.

Daniels amassed 413 yards on 25-30 passing plus another 96 yards rushing on 10 carries. He completed 83.3% of his passes in the 56-14 blowout of Georgia State.

Cook led a 12-play drive of 62 yards to secure a game-winning field goal for a 33-31 win over Florida on Saturday. He went 20-34 for 311 yards and a TD, and he rushed for 1 TD, too.

One of Cook’s blockers, offensive lineman Xavier Delgado, received Offensive Lineman of the Week honors. Delgado helped the Tigers eclipse 500 yards in a game for the fifth time this year.

Arkansas running back Isaiah Agustave also received honors as Co-Freshman of the Week. Agustave rushed for 101 yards on 14 carries in a 55-20 victory over Florida International.

Defensive Players of the Week

Mississippi State linebacker Nathaniel Watson and Arkansas linebacker Alfahiym Walcott shared Defensive Player of the Week honors.

Watson tallied 21 tackles and a sack for the Bulldogs in a 41-20 win over Southern Miss. Alfahiym picked off 2 passes, including 1 for a pick six.

South Carolina edge Jordan Strachan also received SEC honors with Defensive Lineman of the Week. Strachan tallied 2 sacks, including 1 for a fumble in a 17-14 victory over Kentucky.

Special Teams Player of the Week

Missouri kicker Harrison Mevis received recognition for his game-winning field goal 30 yards against Florida. Mevis ranks third all-time for SEC kickers for field goals.

MSU kicker Kyle Ferrie also earned honors as Co-Freshman of the Week with his 4-4 field goal mark against Southern Miss.
