Courtesy of Texas A&M’s upset win at Auburn, only two SEC West teams remain in the hunt for a College Football Playoff berth after Week 11.

Mississippi State travels to Alabama on Saturday in a showdown that will likely decide the division and provide the league’s top contender for a national championship.

After starting the season 5-1, Kentucky’s still searching for a sixth win and isn’t as attractive as it once was as a bowl team following four consecutive losses. The Wildcats’ last two games come on the road against Tennessee and Louisville, not easy by any stretch.

Losses by LSU and Notre Dame to teams ranked in the Top 10 on Saturday put the Tigers and Irish on a crash course to meet in Charlotte for the Belk Bowl. That’s a colossal matchup if things fall into place.
