Following Saturday’s crazy day of football, the bowl projections feature a shakeup this week.

With Alabama going down, Auburn now looks like the biggest College Football Playoff contender. The way things are trending nationally, two SEC West teams could reach the four team playoff. Mississippi State and Ole Miss are also stealing the national spotlight, and several have projected one or both in the playoff.

It appears the best case scenario for South Carolina would be seven wins, good enough to get the Gamecocks to Jacksonville. Six is more likely, which would result in a dreaded trip to the Birmingham or Liberty.
