We’re eight weeks into the college football season, and there’s still plenty to be settled in the SEC. Week 8 did not present many competitive matchups around the conference, but it left every team facing new questions as we approach the back stretch of the season.

Here are the biggest questions every SEC team must answer in the second half of the season:

RELATED: Week 8 Power Rankings

1. Alabama: Can the Crimson Tide take the momentum it gained in a 59-0 win over Texas A&M and carry it through a three-game stretch against Tennessee, LSU (in Death Valley) and Mississippi State?

2. Arkansas: With four SEC games remaining, including three against ranked teams, can the Razorbacks snap their SEC losing streak this season?

3. Auburn: Did Auburn regroup from its loss to Mississippi State during last week’s bye?

4. Florida: Will Will Muschamp get fired this week?

5. Georgia: Is Georgia the country’s biggest sleeper for the College Football Playoff?

6. Kentucky: Did LSU expose Kentucky as a mediocre team, or did Kentucky just have a bad game on the road?

7. LSU: Did LSU turn the corner in its 38-point win over Kentucky?

8. Mississippi: Who will lead Ole Miss in a Week 9 showdown in Death Valley against LSU — Good Bo or Bad Bo?

9. Mississippi State: Will Mississippi State show any rust after last week’s open date?

10. Missouri: How much longer can the Tigers stay afloat before Maty Mauk’s play costs them victories?

11. South Carolina: Can South Carolina live up to preseason expectations and salvage the season with a strong finish?

12. Tennessee: Will Tennessee win an SEC game (other than Vandy) with its underwhelming offensive line?

13. Texas A&M: Can Texas A&M recover from last week’s humiliating loss in Tuscaloosa?

14. Vanderbilt: Will freshmen Johnny McCrary or Wade Freebeck step up and take hold of the starting quarterback job in the second half of the season?
