The SEC Championship Game has officially been set after a busy Week 11 in the conference.

Alabama clinched its spot by winning the SEC West with a big win at Kentucky on Saturday afternoon. Then, after Mizzou beat Tennessee at Faurot Field in the late-afternoon window, Georgia officially earned the SEC East crown.

Now, the Tide and Bulldogs will meet in Atlanta on Saturday, Dec. 2, potentially with a berth in the College Football Playoff on the line.

It will be Alabama’s 10th appearance in the SEC Championship Game under Nick Saban and 15th appearance overall. The Tide have won 8 of 9 SEC title game appearances under Saban.

For the Bulldogs, it’ll be their 6th trip in 7 years under Kirby Smart. The Dawgs have won 4 SEC title games in their history.

Who will win on Dec. 2? We’ll find out in a few short weeks, but it’s sure to be yet another thrilling installment of Smart vs. Saban. And the implications of the game couldn’t be bigger.
