Though sometimes the lines are blurred for fans, let’s make one thing clear: the SEC is not the NFL.

And as such, information provided on injuries to college players just isn’t nearly as forthcoming or reliable as the weekly injury reports published by the NFL.

Still, we’ve tried to keep you as informed as possible about the injury situation for all 14 SEC teams this season. Here’s a look at things for the championship teams as of Friday, Dec. 4:

ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE

Major Injuries: WR Robert Foster (shoulder), WR Chris Black (ankle)

Other injuries to monitor: CB Minkah Fitzpatrick (knee), OT Dominick Jackson (ankle), LB Keith Holcombe (knee), RB Kenyan Drake (arm), LB Denzel Devall (knee)

FLORIDA GATORS

Major Injuries: K Jorge Powell (knee), LB Alex Anzalone (shoulder)

Others injuries to monitor: LB Jeremi Powell (knee), OL David Sharpe (foot), OL Martez Ivey (shoulder), DT Joey Ivie (leg), DL Jonathan Bullard (arm), DE Alex McCalister (foot), DL Jordan Sherit (hamstring), DL Taven Bryan (foot), WR Brandon Powell (foot), OL Cameron Dillard (leg), DB Quincy Wilson (leg)
