SEC coaches joining ESPN's Film Room for National Championship Game
ESPN will once again have wall-to-wall coverage of the National Championship Game with 14 different ways to watch the game. That will include the Film Room on ESPN2 with active coaches helping break down the game from a coach’s point of view live during the game.
This has become a really popular feature among college football fans as they watch the game with an expert’s eyes.
Sports Illustrated has confirmed which coaches will be joining the show and they include two coaches intimately familiar with Alabama:
The Film Room coaches for ESPN2's Bama-Clemson Megacast coverage:
Jim McElwain
Larry Fedora
Willie Taggart
Pat Narduzzi
Will Muschamp— Richard Deitsch (@richarddeitsch) January 8, 2016
Florida coach Jim McElwain was a Nick Saban assistant for several years before heading to Gainesville to coach the Gators. In his first year, he led the Gators to the SEC East Division title and a game with the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship Game.
Will Muschamp just took over at South Carolina after a year as Auburn’s defensive coordinator. He was at Florida as the head coach before then. So he should too be intimately familiar with Alabama and their schemes.
It should provide some great insight for fans looking for a bit more during the National Championship Game on Monday.
North Carolina coach Larry Fedora and Pittsburgh coach Pat Narduzzi will represent the ACC. And USF coach Willie Taggart will also be part of the show.
