College basketball season begins next Monday across the country and it’s expected to be a strong year for the SEC.
On Wednesday, the preseason ALL-SEC teams, as voted by the coaches. were released.
Kentucky and Tennessee were each represented with 2 players on the 1st team.
For the Wildcats, it was national player of the year candidate Oscar Tshiebwe and play-making point guard Sahvir Wheeler who got the nod, while the Volunteers were represented by the backcourt tandem of Santiago Vescovi and Zakai Zeigler.
Josiah-Jordan James was chosen to the 2nd team for Tennessee, which is ranked No. 11 in the preseason AP poll.
