SEC Football Schedule, Saturday, Nov. 16: Kickoff times and TV listings
We’ve officially reached that point of the SEC season. Nonconference games are back, and they’re not of the Rivalry Week variety.
Twelve SEC teams are playing in Week 12. The action is spread out over an 8-game slate, an even split of 4 conference clashes and 4 nonconference games.
Texas’s trip to Arkansas kicks things off in the early window. The Longhorns and Razorbacks are excited to renew an old rivalry as SEC opponents. Steve Sarkisian’s squad stumbled last time in Fayetteville, falling 40-21 in 2021.
Florida and LSU were permanent crossover opponents in the recent years of the SEC East and SEC West. The annual series continues in the division-less SEC, as the Gators and Tigers are set to tangle in The Swamp. LSU is on a 5-game streak in a rivalry it has dominated over the last decade.
Mizzou and South Carolina always play in Columbia. The Gamecocks host this year’s battle for the Mayor’s Cup. Shane Beamer’s team has turned heads during its 3-game winning streak. Eli Drinkwitz’s squad can’t afford another loss to keep any College Football Playoff hopes alive.
Tennessee and Georgia, SEC East rivals for years, are in the spotlight on Saturday night. After picking up a second loss, the Bulldogs are fighting to stay alive in the SEC race and CFP hunt. The Volunteers are on more stable ground as a 1-loss team, but don’t want to have to worry about life as a 2-loss squad.
