SEC Football Schedule, Saturday, Oct. 7: Kickoff times and TV listings
SEC football’s first October Saturday is here! On the docket for Week 6 are 6 games, featuring 11 conference teams. It’s another big Saturday for the division races.
LSU and Mizzou help kick things off. MU is 1 of 3 undefeated teams in the SEC East. LSU, meanwhile, is trying to keep its season from going off the rails. Brian Kelly’s squad entered the season with national championship expectations but has already dropped 2 games, including 1 conference contest.
Alabama and Texas A&M have each dropped nonconference games, but are the only SEC West teams without a conference loss yet in 2023. The winner of the rivalry showdown in College Station will have a clear leg up in the race to Atlanta.
The biggest SEC East game of the season so far will be played Saturday night in Athens. Kentucky and Georgia are each at 5-0 overall and 2-0 in conference play. The Mizzou-LSU outcome will determine whether Saturday’s winner is the division’s sole leader or co-leader.
